Optimization and Market of Integrated Electricity and Natural Gas Systems
The depletion of fossil fuels, environmental pollution and global warming have significantly impacted the survival of human beings and their sustainable development. Clean and sustainable energy is recognized to solve the environmental problems and achieve the goal of carbon neutral. However, uncertainty of renewable energy has brought challenges in the consumption of renewable generation. Integrated electricity and natural gas systems are recently proposed by researcher to effectively utilize renewable energy. The economical and secure operation of one system could impact the other system or be impacted by other systems. It is important to study the coordinated operation and market of Integrated electricity and natural gas system.
Assoc. Prof. Chuan He, Sichuan University, China
Chuan He received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China in 2011, 2014 and 2018, respectively. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA from 2015 to 2017. He joined Sichuan University as an Associate Researcher in 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Electrical Engineering, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. His research interests include robust optimization on power system operation and planning with renewable energy.
